The house built in 1888 is adobe and has 20" thick walls (interior and exterior). It has been totally renovated. New electrical, plumbing and tile. There is approx 1 acre of new fenced pasture area. There are 1.1 acre feet of water rights established in 1885 off the Bonito River for irrigation. All of the property can be irrigated.

Currently the house is used as a B&B, small restaurant and gift shop, however, if you wanted the house as a residence it would have 5 bedroom, and 2 bathrooms. It is located in historic Lincoln, New Mexico, made famous by Billy the Kid and the Lincoln County War. The State of New Mexico owns seven buildings in Lincoln that are museums and open to the public. There are approximately 30 to 40 thousand people that tour Lincoln per year.
There is a separate building with Highway 380 frontage that could be used as a rental or retail store. With plenty of land for horses and corrals, two terraces which can be used for garden areas. If you are a horse enthusiast there are many places to ride right out your back door. There are several Forest Service Roads close to Lincoln for UTV's and ATV's. Great hunting for deer, elk, barbary sheep and bear close by.
A three sided shed for storage. One + acres of newly fenced pasture.
This is a great property if you want to live off the land and let the crazy world do what it will.

The house is on the National Register of Historic Places. It was built and owned by Jimmy Dolan, one of the key characters in the Lincoln County War. He fought against John Tunstall who had hired the outlaw Billy the Kid. So much history here.
