Built in 1835 by John and Sally Currier Adams on the stage route from Montreal to Boston, the house holds the history of 2 illustrious families, the Adams' and the Cummings', large land owners, big in local politics, the abolitionist movement and Freemasonry. Much family history has been preserved including family/property photos dating back to the mid-1800's.

Built in the Federal Style, this home has functioned successfully as a B & B for over 30 years. The builder, John Adams was a distant cousin of the Massachussetts Adams' of Presidential fame and his family owned the property until the 1970's.
