Amelia Jeffers is the lead Realtor and auctioneer for the Garth's Real Estate Services team which formed a partnership with Keller Williams Capital Partners Realty in 2008. Capital Partners Realty was the first Keller Williams franchise to open in Central Ohio in 2002. Since then, a lot of hard work has been done to provide unmatched service to their clients – but it has certainly paid off! Keller Williams Capital Partners has become a dominating force in the new home sales market of Central Ohio, serving the areas of Columbus, New Albany, Worthington, Delaware and beyond.
With such a strong network behind her, Amelia has the vision to promote historic properties with an eye toward modern marketing. While still embracing traditional print advertising, she has ushered her real estate team into the 21st century with, among other things, online advertising and an active Facebook page, to continue reaching a younger clientele. She most recently sold The Catherine Campbell House (Delaware, Ohio), which is listed on the National Register of Historic Homes.
Complimenting Amelia’s real estate marketing experience is her lifelong interest in antiques and fine art. Amelia and her husband, Jeff, also own Garth’s Auctions of Delaware, Ohio, the state’s oldest premier antiques and fine art auction house with annual revenue approaching $10 million dollars per year. A licensed auctioneer in the state of Ohio, Amelia attended the Mid-Ohio School of Auctioneering and West Virginia University. During her 15+ years at the auction house, where most sales take place against the historic backdrop of Garth's renowned 19th Century bank barn, Amelia has skillfully managed every aspect of the business, particularly those relative to design and marketing. It is Amelia’s creativity and enthusiasm, for instance, that generated Garth’s highly respected full-color catalogs that set the auction house apart.
Amelia's dedication and professionalism are only enhanced by the personal touch and attention to detail she brings to every property she handles. She understands the benefits of successfully merging classic and historic architecture with the needs of today's modern and fast paced life. She did it for many years herself, living and working on the 1812 Colonel Forrest Meeker homestead.
Historic homes are most often purchased by specific buyers, so capitalize on Amelia's connections in Ohio and the national antiques community, which give her the edge to reach these niche buyers.
