Melody Stang founded the boutique real estate company: Melody Stang Realty, Inc., in early 2005, and located it in the heart of downtown, St. Petersburg. She has achieved over $100,000,000 in sales through selling her listings and by creating great matches for investors, both primary residence and second home buyers.
Having lived in Pinellas County for over 32 years, and worked in the real estate arena since 1984, her proven track record of outstanding sales shows that she knows the business of meeting the needs of her customers and knows the residential real estate market from Downtown St. Petersburg, Pinellas County and throughout the Tampa Bay Area.
Since 2007 Melody realized her calling toward the imminent trend in the distressed property market. That is when she became Certified as a Distressed Property Expert by the Distressed Property Institute. It was her turn to lend a helping hand to the countless distressed families in need. This Real Estate Broker chose to embrace the treacherous short sale market when most real estate agents shied away from short sales. Since then, Melody has personally closed over 95 short sales, nearly always obtaining total release of the mortgage liens for her customers.
In 2004, Melody was awarded the title of “Princess” after contributing over 2500 volunteer hours to various charities throughout Pinellas County. The Queen’s Court, Inc., a non-profit organization recognized Melody for her fundraising achievements and charitable involvement and she continues that enthusiasm for serving others to this day.
