Julie Martin is a 20 year resident of Glynn County and Brunswick’s Historic District on the coast of Georgia. She has been a Realtor specializing in historic and coastal properties for over 10 years. She and her family live in an 1870 Second Empire home they renovated several years ago. In addition to her extensive knowledge of historic properties, she also serves as a City Commissioner and has been a driving force of revitalization and economic development for the community.
In 2005 she founded and has directed a non-profit organization named Signature Squares of Brunswick with the mission of renovating and preserving Brunswick’s 14 historic squares. In doing so, she has earned local, state and national recognition for her community service by highlighting Brunswick’s history through its historic squares. As a Port City, Brunswick has a unique coastal charm along with many wonderful historic assets all making for a very friendly and walkable community.
